Skip the Line: All Florence in 1 Day

I don’t even know how to write this blog post since today was so amazing it’s hard to put into words. I started early, real early, getting up at 7 a.m. to start my all-day tour of Florence in 1 day. I could say that I wish I did this tour the moment I got here, but really, I want to take variations of this tour for an entire year. There’s just so much art and history and art history to cover… I’m almost speechless and completely inspired. I’m also totally tipsy with vino rosso della casa (red house wine) stained lips as I write this at 11:50PM so I may just be overly emotional.

I wish I could share so many pictures from this tour, but most of the museums don’t allow you to take photographs so I suggest you just come here and experience it for yourself. Check out the tour deets »

The morning tour was led by Angelo — obviously Italian so obviously passionate about everything, especially the true meaning behind the David sculpture and the political corruption behind the Medici family (he’s still so worked up about it!).
